Scheduling Posts in Wordpress 2.5
Written by sean on April 8, 2008 – 11:30 am -I’m still fumbling my way around Wordpress 2.5 since I upgraded over the weekend. In general I like it alot, but some things have moved and it seems to take me a while to actually find them again. One of the things I couldn’t find was who to schedule a post. I live and die buy this feature and sort of freaked out when I couldn’t find it. But then I calmed down and figure it how. here is a quick step by step on scheduling posts in Wordpress 2.5:
Once you’ve written your post, look for this box. You’ll want to click on Edit next to Publish immediately.
Change the Publish Status to Published, and change the date and time to when you want. Make sure you note the timezone Wordpress is using! Mine is in GMT so if I want it to publish at 7:30am EDT, I needt to set it for 11:30am GMT.
Now go ahead an click the Publish Button and your post is all set and scheduled.

I have noticed that all though the posts show up on this page, my RSS feed is not getting updated. It seems like it will eventually, but there is a multihour delay. Not sure what is goig on there. If anybody has the same problem, or even better a fix, let me know.
